If you are driving from the capital of Houaphanh Province, Sam Neua, head east on Route 6 for approximately 25 kilometers until you reach the junction at Viang Xai. Turn left onto the Unnamed Road and continue straight for about 10 kilometers. You will find the Nouhak Phoumsavanh Residence Cave on your right at the coordinates 20.3995° N, 104.2282° E.
