The viewpoint is a popular stop for travelers exploring the Thakhek Loop, a 450 km route that circles the national protected area.Green Discovery, an adventure company based in Laos, has established a restaurant at the viewpoint and offers activities such as zip lines, a spider web bridge, and fixed climbing ropes. These additions allow visitors to immerse themselves further in the landscape and gain even better views of the Hin Boun Forest. The viewpoint also serves as a tourist information center for Khammouane Province.
