From the center of Luang Prabang, head to the main street (Sisavangvong Road). Look for a tuk-tuk driver; they are usually gathered near the night market area. Negotiate a fare with the driver to take you to Elephant Village Ban Xieng Lom, which is approximately 15 kilometers away. The trip will take around 30-40 minutes, depending on traffic. Make sure to confirm that the driver knows the destination before you leave.

You can also reach Elephant Village Ban Xieng Lom by taking a boat down the Mekong River. Head to the boat pier located near the Royal Palace Museum in Luang Prabang. Purchase a ticket for a boat ride to the village. The boat ride may take around 1 hour. Once you arrive at the village pier, you can walk a short distance to reach the Elephant Village itself.

For the adventurous traveler, renting a bicycle is a great way to reach Elephant Village. You can rent a bicycle from various shops in Luang Prabang. Start by cycling along the main road heading towards the Elephant Village, which is located about 15 kilometers from the town center.
