Car
If you're traveling by car from Phou Bia, head south on Route 13 (the main highway). Continue for approximately 45 kilometers until you reach the town of Luang Prabang. From there, follow the signs to the Nam Khan River, which is located just a few kilometers east of the town center. The river is accessible via several roads leading off the main street, and you can park nearby.
Public Transportation (Bus)
To reach Nam Khan River using public transportation, take a bus from Phou Bia to Luang Prabang. Buses depart regularly from the central bus station. The journey takes about 1 hour. Once you arrive in Luang Prabang, you can either walk or take a tuk-tuk to the river. The tuk-tuk ride will cost around 20,000 LAK ($2 USD) and will take approximately 10 minutes.
