Getting There

Walking
If you are in the center of Luang Prabang, start at the main street, Sisavangvong Road, which is easily recognizable. Head north along Sisavangvong Road, passing by several shops and cafes. You will see the Night Market on your left; continue straight. After walking about 1 kilometer, you will reach the Elephant Village Sanctuary & Resort, which is located on your right side. Look for the signs that indicate the entrance.

Tuk-Tuk
To reach the Elephant Village Sanctuary & Resort by Tuk-Tuk, find a Tuk-Tuk stand near the Night Market or your hotel. Negotiate the fare with the driver, typically around 20,000 to 30,000 LAK. Once you agree, tell the driver to take you to 'Elephant Village Sanctuary on Sisavangvong Road.' The ride will take approximately 10-15 minutes, depending on traffic. The driver will drop you off right at the entrance.

Bicycle
If you prefer cycling, rent a bicycle from one of the many rental shops in Luang Prabang. From the city center, ride north along Sisavangvong Road. As you pedal, enjoy the scenery and local life. The distance is about 1 kilometer. Keep an eye out for the Elephant Village Sanctuary on your right, marked by its signage. Make sure to park your bike at the designated area before entering.
