Getting There

Walking
If you're in the center of Luang Prabang, head towards the Mekong River. From the Royal Palace, walk north along the main street, which is Sisavangvong Road, until you reach the intersection with Ounheun Road. Turn left onto Ounheun Road and continue walking for about 200 meters. The National Museum will be on your right, just before the entrance to the Royal Palace.

Find a tuk-tuk stand in the center of Luang Prabang, such as near the Night Market on Sisavangvong Road. Tell the driver you want to go to the National Museum on Ounheun Road. The ride should take around 5-10 minutes. The driver will drop you off right in front of the museum.

Rent a bicycle from one of the many rental shops in the city. Start from the center and ride along Sisavangvong Road heading north. When you reach the intersection with Ounheun Road, turn left. Continue for about 200 meters, and you'll see the National Museum on your right.
