Great orientation of the town & places to see

Like a lot of city or town tours they are all about orientation and seeing the highlights rather than wandering round or attempting to do so on your own. Our guide was knowledgeable, friendly and clearly very passionate about where he lives and the history of the town. We covered the Palace, multiple temples, the markets and many cafes and restaurants along with a great coffee stop with a Mekong River view before climbing the steps to the Mount Phousi. Like all of the tours we have done in Laos if you wait till you get there you can book them for significantly less so long as you have the flexibility on days, we don’t so booked around our timescale. Luang Prabang was probably the smallest one we have done, but that doesn’t take away from having a good local guide show you round and our man, whose name I have unfortunately forgot so added a photo was top drawer.
