Motorbike/Scooter
The most common way to reach Nam Xay Viewpoint is by renting a motorbike in Vang Vieng. Rental costs range from 50,000 to 180,000 LAK per day. From Vang Vieng, cross the Namsong Bridge, which may have a small toll fee of around 0.50 USD. Follow the road west for approximately 10km. The roads can be bumpy, so exercise caution. There is a free parking area at the base of the trail. Entrance fee to the viewpoint is 20,000 LAK.
Tuk-tuk
Alternatively, hire a tuk-tuk for a round trip from Vang Vieng. Negotiate the price beforehand, typically around 100,000 to 200,000 LAK. The driver will wait for you while you hike. The entrance fee to the viewpoint is 20,000 LAK.
