To reach Tham Pha Ka by car, start from a major city in the Mekong River Valley, such as Vientiane. Head north, and look for signs directing you toward Muang Met. From there, follow local roads to Tham Pha Ka. Parking is available near the cave entrance.
Public Transport
To reach Tham Pha Ka via public transportation, take a bus from Vientiane to a town near Muang Met. From there, hire a local tuk-tuk or songthaew (shared taxi) to take you to the cave. Expect to pay around 20,000 to 30,000 LAK (approximately $2 to $3 USD) per person for the tuk-tuk ride.
