Prices for the boat trip are typically posted on a board in the village. The head of the boat association can be found next to the board to arrange the trip. Car
If driving from Thakhek, take Route 12 towards Bualapha. From Bualapha, it's a 12km drive to Nong Ping Village. Recently sealed roads make this a swift 15-minute drive. From Nong Ping, boats are available to the cave entrance. Note that during the rainy season, the road from Bualapha to Nong Ping may be difficult or impassable, making the boat from Ban Pakphanang the most reliable option. Parking may be available at the boat association manager's house for a small fee.
