Getting There

• Walking

  From the center of Muang Sing, head towards the main road, which is Phonexay Street. Walk north along this road for about 1.5 kilometers. You will pass by various shops and local eateries. Keep an eye out for the signposts indicating 'Phonexay Street'. Once you reach the intersection with the Luang Namtha River, continue walking straight. After approximately 300 meters, you will see 'Forest Retreat Laos' on your right. The retreat is located in a lush area, so look for the entrance that features natural landscaping.

• Bicycle

  Rent a bicycle from one of the local shops in Muang Sing. Start by cycling north on Phonexay Street. Follow the same route as outlined for walking, maintaining a moderate pace. It should take approximately 10 minutes by bicycle. Look for the signs for 'Forest Retreat Laos' as you approach the intersection with the Luang Namtha River. Once you see the entrance on your right, park your bicycle in the designated area outside the retreat.

• Tuk-Tuk

  Hail a tuk-tuk from one of the many available in Muang Sing. Inform the driver that you want to go to 'Forest Retreat Laos' on Phonexay Street. The ride should take about 5-10 minutes depending on traffic. Make sure to specify the landmark; it is known for its natural beauty. The tuk-tuk will drop you off directly at the entrance of the retreat.
