If you are in the center of Muang Sing, start at the local market (Muang Sing Market). Head south on the main road (Route 1C) towards the direction of Luang Prabang. Continue walking for about 1.5 kilometers until you reach the intersection with Route 13. Turn left onto Route 13 and walk for another 1 kilometer. You will see Wat Xiengthong on your right-hand side.

Rent a bicycle from one of the local shops in Muang Sing. Start at the market and ride south on Route 1C for approximately 1.5 kilometers. At the intersection with Route 13, turn left, and continue cycling for about 1 kilometer. Wat Xiengthong will be on your right.
