If you are driving from Luang Prabang city center, head south on the main road (Khem Khong Road) towards the Mekong River. Continue straight for about 1.5 kilometers. You will see signs for Wat Xiengthong. The temple is located directly along the riverbank, and there is parking available nearby. Look for the V4XV+277 address.

Tuk-Tuk
To reach Wat Xiengthong by tuk-tuk, find a tuk-tuk driver in the city center of Luang Prabang. Tell the driver 'Wat Xiengthong' or show them the address V4XV+277, Khem Khong. The journey will take about 10-15 minutes, depending on traffic. The tuk-tuk will drop you off near the entrance of the temple.

Walking
If you're staying near the city center, you can walk to Wat Xiengthong. Start from the Royal Palace Museum and head south along the Mekong River. It's about a 20-minute walk. Walk along Khem Khong Road, and you will see the temple on your right as you approach the river.

Although there is no direct public bus to Wat Xiengthong, you can take a local bus to the nearest bus stop to the temple. Board a bus towards the direction of the Mekong River and ask the driver to drop you off near Wat Xiengthong. From the bus stop, it is a short walk of about 5 minutes to the temple.
