Turn left onto Route 1B and continue for approximately 29 kilometers. Look for signs indicating Kuang Si Waterfall; there will be a turn-off to the right. Follow this road for about 10 kilometers, and you will arrive at the parking area for Kuang Si Waterfall. The total drive time is approximately 1 to 1.5 hours, depending on traffic and road conditions.

  • Public Transportation (Songthaew)

    From Luang Prabang, you can take a songthaew (shared taxi) to Kuang Si Waterfall. Head to the main bus station in Luang Prabang and look for a songthaew heading to the waterfall. The ride will cost around 20,000 to 30,000 LAK per person. The journey takes about 1 hour. Be sure to confirm with the driver that they are going to Kuang Si Waterfall before you get in.
