From the center of Phongsaly Province, drive towards Muang Ngoy. The journey takes approximately 1.5 to 2 hours depending on road conditions. Follow Route 1D, which will take you through scenic landscapes. Upon arriving in Muang Ngoy, look for signs leading to the Phanai Cave Trail. The Viewpoint is located along this trail, marked with a trailhead sign. Park your car in a designated area and begin your hike towards the viewpoint.

To reach Viewpoint via public transportation, head to the local bus station in Phongsaly. Look for a bus heading to Muang Ngoy. The bus ride should take about 2 hours and costs around 30,000 LAK. Once you arrive in Muang Ngoy, you can either walk or hire a local tuk-tuk to take you to the Phanai Cave Trailhead. The tuk-tuk ride will cost approximately 20,000 LAK. Once at the trailhead, follow the signs leading to the Viewpoint.
