Getting There

  • Car

    If you're driving from Phou Bia, head southeast on Route 13 for approximately 25 km. After 25 km, take a left turn onto Route 10. Follow Route 10 for about 15 km, then turn right onto the access road leading to Blue Lagoon 3, which is well-signposted. Continue for about 5 km until you reach the parking area near the lagoon.

  • Public Transportation (Songthaew)

    To reach Blue Lagoon 3 via public transport, find a local Songthaew (shared taxi) in Phou Bia that is heading towards Vang Vieng. Inform the driver that you wish to get off at the Blue Lagoon 3 stop. The journey will take approximately 45 minutes and costs around 20,000 LAK. Once you arrive at the designated stop, follow the signs for about 1 km to reach the lagoon.

  • Walking (from Songthaew stop)

    If you arrive at the Songthaew stop, you will need to walk the remaining distance to Blue Lagoon 3. Follow the path leading away from the main road. It’s a scenic 1 km walk through nature, and the lagoon will be clearly signposted along the way.
