If you are driving from Phou Bia, head south on Route 13 towards Vang Vieng. The journey takes approximately 1.5 to 2 hours. Once you arrive in Vang Vieng, look for the signs directing you to the center of town. Vang Vieng View is located at WCCP+4H, which is just a short drive from the main street. Use GPS coordinates 18.920315, 102.436428 to navigate directly to the viewpoint. There is usually free parking available nearby.
Public Transportation
To reach Vang Vieng View using public transportation, start by taking a minibus or a songthaew (shared taxi) from Phou Bia to Vang Vieng. The fare typically costs around 50,000 LAK (approximately $5 USD) and the journey lasts about 1.5 to 2 hours. Once you arrive in Vang Vieng, you can either walk or take a tuk-tuk to the viewpoint. If you decide to walk, head towards the main street and follow the directions to WCCP+4H, which is roughly a 20-minute walk from the center of town.
