Start from the Savannakhet city center, where most accommodations and eateries are located. Head southeast on Rue de France towards the Mekong River. Continue walking straight until you reach the intersection with Avenue Lane Xang. Turn left and follow Avenue Lane Xang for about 1 kilometer until you see the sign for the local bus station on your right. You can catch a local tuk-tuk here to continue your journey.

Once at the local bus station, find a tuk-tuk and tell the driver you want to go to Monkey Forest (ໄກສອນ ພົມວິຫານ). The ride should take approximately 15-20 minutes. Make sure to agree on the fare before starting your journey. The tuk-tuk will take you along Avenue Lane Xang and then turn onto a smaller road leading directly to Monkey Forest.
