Walking
From Vang Vieng town center, follow the river road south, keeping the Nam Song River on your right. Walk past Jam Mee Guesthouse. Continue until you reach the Vang Vieng Resort gate. Pay a bridge crossing fee of 2,000 LAK. Cross the bridge over the Nam Song River to reach the base of the steps leading up to Jang Cave. The combined entry fee to the area around the cave and the cave itself is 20,000 LAK.
Tuk-tuk
Hire a tuk-tuk from Vang Vieng town center. Negotiate the fare with the driver before starting your journey. A typical tuk-tuk ride within Vang Vieng costs between 10,000 to 15,000 LAK per person. The tuk-tuk will drop you off at the Vang Vieng Resort gate. Pay a bridge crossing fee of 2,000 LAK per person.
