From the center of Thakhek, head south on Thakhek Road (Route 13) towards the Mekong River. Continue walking for about 1.5 kilometers until you reach the intersection with Khamkeuth Road. Turn left onto Khamkeuth Road and continue for another 2 kilometers. Look for signs leading to the Flooded Forest area; follow the path until you reach a small trail that leads towards the viewpoint. The last part may require a short hike through the forest.

Rent a bicycle from one of the local shops in Thakhek. Start from the main market area and ride south on Thakhek Road (Route 13) for about 1.5 kilometers. At the intersection with Khamkeuth Road, turn left and continue riding for 2 kilometers. Keep an eye out for signs that direct you to the Flooded Forest. As you approach, park your bicycle and follow the walking trail that leads to the viewpoint, which may involve some light hiking.

After approximately 2 kilometers, the driver will drop you off at the entrance to the Flooded Forest area.
