Getting There

• Walking

  Start from the center of Vang Vieng, near the main street where most guesthouses and restaurants are located. Head north on the main road (Lao Road 13) towards the direction of the river. Continue walking until you reach the intersection with the road leading to Phou Kham Cave (keep an eye out for signs). Turn left onto the road that leads to Phou Kham Cave and follow it. After approximately 1 kilometer, you'll see a sign for Pha Ngern Silver Cliff View Point. The path will be slightly uphill and may require some climbing, so wear comfortable shoes. Follow the signs and local trail markers until you reach the viewpoint.

• Bicycle

  Rent a bicycle from one of the many rental shops in Vang Vieng. Start your ride heading north on Lao Road 13. After about 1 kilometer, turn left onto the road leading to Phou Kham Cave. Continue on this road, which will be mostly flat before starting to incline slightly. The ride should take around 20-30 minutes depending on your pace. Look for signs directing you to Pha Ngern Silver Cliff View Point as you approach the viewpoint. Be cautious of the terrain as it may be uneven in some parts.
