Car
From the center of Xaisomboun Province, take Route 13 south towards Vientiane. After approximately 60 km, look for the signs for Luang Prabang and turn onto Route 1. Continue on this road for about 200 km until you reach Luang Prabang. Once in Luang Prabang, follow Sisavangvong Road towards the river, and the Elephant Village Sanctuary & Resort will be located along this road. Keep an eye out for the entrance on your right.

Public Bus
Catch a local bus from Xaisomboun to Vientiane. The bus will take approximately 2-3 hours. Once you arrive in Vientiane, transfer to a bus heading to Luang Prabang, which will take about 6-7 hours. Upon reaching Luang Prabang, disembark at the main bus station. From there, you can either take a tuk-tuk or a taxi to Sisavangvong Road. The Elephant Village Sanctuary & Resort is located along this road, so simply ask the driver to take you there.
