Car
If you're traveling by car, start from the center of Abava River Valley and head towards the Abava pagasts. Follow the signs for 'Abavas rumba', which is the local name for the Abava waterfall. The exact address is Abavas rumba, Abavas pagasts, Talsu novads, LV-3294. You will likely be on the main road leading to Talsi; continue straight until you see a sign for the waterfall. There is a small parking area near the waterfall where you can leave your car.
Public Transportation
If you are using public transportation, take a bus from Talsi to Abava pagasts. Check the local schedules as they may vary. Once you arrive at the Abava pagasts stop, you will need to walk approximately 1 kilometer to reach the waterfall. Follow the signs towards 'Abavas rumba'. The walk will take around 15-20 minutes through the scenic landscape of the Abava River Valley.
Bicycle
