Public Transport
From Cesis, head to the Cesis bus station, which is located at 1 Rīgas iela. Look for the sign that says 'Autobusu Stacija'. Take a bus towards Sigulda. The bus ride should take about 30 minutes. Once you arrive at the Sigulda bus station, you will be in the center of Sigulda city.
Walking
From the Sigulda bus station, exit onto Pils Street. Walk straight until you reach the intersection with Vaidavas Street. Turn left onto Vaidavas Street and continue walking. After a short distance, you will see the main attractions of Sigulda, including the Sigulda Castle, which is about a 15-minute walk from the bus station.
Bicycle Rental
If you prefer cycling, there are bicycle rental shops near the Sigulda bus station. Rent a bicycle and head towards Pils Street. Follow Pils Street towards the Sigulda Castle area. Cycling will give you a chance to enjoy the scenic views along the way and will take about 10 minutes to reach the castle.
