Walking
Start from the center of Cesis, at the Cesis Castle (Cēsu pils). From the castle, head south on Rīgas iela towards the roundabout. At the roundabout, take the first exit onto Ausekļa iela. Continue straight until you reach the next intersection. Turn left onto Turaidas iela and follow it. After approximately 2 km, you will see Turaida Castle on your right. The walk will take about 30-40 minutes.
Public Transport
From the Cesis bus station, take bus number 1 to Sigulda. Buses run frequently, approximately every 30 minutes. The journey takes about 20 minutes. Once you arrive at the Sigulda bus station, exit and turn right onto Turaidas iela. Turaida Castle is about a 15-minute walk from the bus station. Follow Turaidas iela straight until you reach the castle entrance.
