    Getting There

    Walking

    From the center of Cesis, start at the Cesis Castle ruins located on Pils iela. Head northeast along Pils iela towards the intersection with Rīgas iela. Turn left onto Rīgas iela and continue walking for about 1.5 kilometers until you reach the bus stop named 'Sigulda'. From there, you can take a bus to Turaida. The bus ride will take approximately 15 minutes. Get off at the 'Turaida' stop, and from there, it's a short 10-minute walk to Turaidas iela 10. Follow the signs directing you to the Turaida Museum Reserve, which is well indicated along the path.

    Public Transport

    From Cesis, walk to the nearest bus station on Rīgas iela. Take a bus towards Sigulda. The buses run regularly, so check the schedule for the next available bus. The journey to Turaida takes about 15-20 minutes. Once you arrive at the Turaida stop, exit the bus and walk towards Turaidas iela. It’s about a 10-minute walk to Turaidas iela 10, where the Turaida Museum Reserve is located. Look for directional signs to guide you.

    Bicycle

    If you prefer cycling, you can rent a bike in Cesis. Start from the center of Cesis and ride along Rīgas iela heading towards Sigulda. The route is approximately 8 kilometers and is quite scenic. Follow the signs for Turaida when you reach Sigulda. Once you reach Turaidas iela, you will find Turaida Museum Reserve at number 10. There are bike racks available near the entrance for parking your bike.
