Start your journey at the Daugavpils city center, near the Daugavpils Fortress. From there, head east along Rīgas iela. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Kandavas iela. Turn left onto Kandavas iela. Walk straight for about 1 kilometer, and you will see a sign for Esplanādes mitrāja dabas taka on your right. The entrance is located at Kandavas iela 1B.

From the Daugavpils bus station, take bus number 6 towards 'Daugavpils, Aglonas iela'. Ride for approximately 10 minutes and get off at the 'Daugavpils, Kandavas iela' stop.
