Getting There

• Public Bus

  From the center of Daugavpils, head to the main bus station, located at Stacijas iela 6. You will find several bus lines operating from there. Look for bus number 18, which will take you directly to Visaginas. The journey will take approximately 45 minutes. Once you arrive at the Visaginas bus station, exit the station and turn left onto Vilties g. Walk straight for about 5 minutes, and you will see the Visagino kultūros centras located at Vilties g. 5.

• Bicycle Rental

  If you prefer to cycle, you can rent a bicycle from one of the local rental shops in Daugavpils. A popular spot is 'Daugavpils Bike Rental' located near the Daugava River, on Rīgas iela. From there, ride towards the direction of the Daugavpils city outskirts, then follow the bike paths leading to the main road that goes towards Visaginas. The total distance is about 30 kilometers, which might take around 2 hours to cycle. Once you reach Visaginas, navigate to Vilties g. and find the cultural center at number 5.

• Walking

  Walking to Visaginas from Daugavpils is not practical due to the distance, but you can walk to nearby bus stations. If you are already near the Daugavpils bus station, follow the pathways leading to Stacijas iela 6, and board bus number 18. Alternatively, if you are close to the center, the city is pedestrian-friendly, and you can enjoy a leisurely walk to the bus station.
