Getting There

  • Car

    From Gauja River, head southwest on the A2 road towards Ieriķi. Continue on A2 for approximately 20 kilometers until you reach Ieriķi. Once in Ieriķi, turn onto Lielā iela and follow it for about 1 kilometer. The entrance to Gauja National Park will be on your right. Parking is available near the entrance, but ensure you check for any parking fees which may apply.

  • Public Transportation

    Take a local bus from Gauja River to Ieriķi. Buses run regularly, and you can check the schedule at the local bus station or online. The journey might take around 30 minutes. Once you arrive at Ieriķi, walk along Lielā iela for about 1 kilometer towards the park entrance. Be aware that bus tickets usually cost around €1.00-€2.00, depending on the distance.

  • Bicycle

    If you prefer cycling, there are bike paths from Gauja River to Ieriķi. The ride takes about 1 hour and is about 15 kilometers. Follow the cycling paths along the A2 road, ensuring to stay safe and watch for traffic. Once you reach Ieriķi, you can park your bike at the entrance of Gauja National Park.
