From Jurmala, head to the nearest train station, which is Majori Station. You can walk there from most central locations in Jurmala. Take the train towards Riga. The journey takes about 20 minutes. Once you arrive at Riga Central Station, exit the station and follow the signs to the tram stop.

At the tram stop outside Riga Central Station, take Tram Line 1 or 4 towards the city center. Ride for 2 stops and get off at the 'Rātslaukums' stop. From the tram stop, walk straight ahead for about 3 minutes, and you will see the First Public Christmas Tree in Rātslaukums.

Alternatively, you can catch a bus from Jurmala to Riga. Find the nearest bus stop in Jurmala, and take a bus heading towards Riga. The bus journey will take approximately 30 minutes. Once you arrive at the bus terminal in Riga, you can either walk to Rātslaukums, which is about a 15-minute walk, or take a tram from the nearby stop to reach Rātslaukums.
