Getting There

• Car

  If you are driving to Lielupe White Dune, start by navigating to Jūrmala via the A10 highway. Once in Jūrmala, follow the signs to the beach area and towards Lielupe. Turn onto Jomas Street and continue straight until you reach Baltās kāpas iela. Turn left onto Baltās kāpas iela and continue straight until you reach the destination at Baltās kāpas iela 12. There is limited parking available nearby, so be prepared to find a spot along the street.

• Public Transportation

  To reach Lielupe White Dune using public transportation, take the train from Riga to Jūrmala. You can catch a train from Riga Central Station that goes to Jūrmala and get off at the 'Lielupe' station. From there, it is approximately a 15-minute walk to Baltās kāpas iela. Head northwest on Jūrmala Street, then turn left onto Baltās kāpas iela. Continue straight until you reach the address Baltās kāpas iela 12. Alternatively, you can take a local bus from the train station to a stop closer to the dune.

• Walking

  If you are already in Jūrmala, walking to Lielupe White Dune is a pleasant option. Start at the Jūrmala beach area and head southeast towards Jomas Street. Follow Jomas Street until you reach the intersection with Baltās kāpas iela. Turn left onto Baltās kāpas iela and continue walking until you reach Baltās kāpas iela 12. The walk offers scenic views of the coast and is approximately 30-40 minutes, depending on your starting point.

• Bicycle

  For a more active approach, consider renting a bicycle in Jūrmala. You can find rental stations near the beach. Cycle along the coastal paths, enjoying the views. Head towards Jomas Street and turn left onto Baltās kāpas iela. Follow the road until you reach Baltās kāpas iela 12. The cycling distance is around 3 kilometers, and it should take about 15-20 minutes.
