Car
From the center of Kuldīga, head southeast on Rīgas iela towards Dzirnavu iela. Continue on Rīgas iela for about 1.5 km until you reach the roundabout. Take the second exit to stay on Rīgas iela, which will eventually turn into Pilskalna iela. Follow Pilskalna iela for approximately 1 km. You will see signs for Black Cape (Melna Kolka) indicating the way. There is limited parking available near the entrance.
Public Transportation
If you prefer public transportation, start at the Kuldīga bus station located at 7, Rīgas iela. Look for local bus routes heading towards Pilskalna iela. The trip will take around 10-15 minutes, depending on traffic. Once you reach the nearest bus stop to Black Cape, it's a short walk of about 500 meters south along Pilskalna iela to reach the site.
Walking
If you are already in Kuldīga and prefer to walk, start from the Old Town area. Head towards Rīgas iela and follow it southeast for about 1.5 km until you reach the roundabout. Continue on Rīgas iela which turns into Pilskalna iela. Once you reach Black Cape, you will find beautiful natural scenery and opportunities for photography.
