Walking
Rātslaukums is easily accessible on foot from most locations within Riga's Old Town. From the Riga Central Market, walk northwest on Miera iela towards the city center. Continue straight until you reach Rātslaukums, a prominent square surrounded by historical buildings. This walk should take approximately 15 minutes.
Public Transport
From the Freedom Monument, walk to the nearby bus stop called 'Brīvības bulvāris'. Take bus number 22 towards 'Ziepniekkalns'. After 4 stops, disembark at 'Rātslaukums'. Upon exiting the bus, you will see the square directly ahead. A single fare for public transportation in Riga is approximately €1.15.
