If you're driving from Daugavpils, head northwest on the A13 highway toward Rīga. Continue for approximately 2 hours, following signs for Rīga. Once you reach the city, take the exit toward Centra rajons. Drive straight along Brīvības iela, then turn left onto Smilšu iela. The Latvian War Museum will be on your right at Smilšu iela 20.

To reach the Latvian War Museum from Rīga Central Station, take tram number 11 towards Daugavgrīva. Get off at the 'Rīgas pils' stop. From there, walk southwest on Klostera iela, then turn right onto Smilšu iela. The museum will be ahead at Smilšu iela 20. The entire journey takes about 20 minutes.
