Walking
From Liepāja's central beach, head north along the coastline. The Southern Breakwater is easily accessible by walking along the beach. Follow the sandy path, enjoying the sea breeze, until you reach the breakwater's base. The walk is approximately 800 meters from the parking lot at the end of Roņu Street. No costs are involved.
Public Transport
From the Liepāja bus station, take any bus or tram heading towards the city center. Get off at a stop near Kūrmājas Prospekts. From there, walk towards the beach and follow the coastline north. The Southern Breakwater will be visible in the distance. A single ride ticket purchased in advance costs €0.90, or €1.50 if purchased from the driver.
Taxi
From anywhere in central Liepāja, a taxi ride to the Southern Breakwater will typically cost between €5 and €10. Ask the driver to take you to the end of Roņu Street or Kūrmājas Prospekts, near the beach entrance. From there, it's a short walk to the breakwater.
Car
Drive towards Kūrmājas Prospekts or Roņu Street, located north of Liepāja's central beach. Parking is available in the parking lot on Kūrmājas Prospekts or at the end of Roņu Street. Parking costs €0.50 per hour, with a minimum payment of €0.30 for 20 minutes. Parking is free on Sundays and public holidays.
