From the Mākoņkalns bus stop, walk approximately 2 kilometers to Volkenbergas Pils. Follow the signs or ask locals for directions. A single bus fare in Rēzekne is approximately EUR 0.50.

    From the Mākoņkalns bus stop, head northeast on the main road towards the castle. The path is well-marked and takes you through scenic countryside. It should take about 25-30 minutes to walk to Volkenbergas Pils from the bus stop.

  • Car

    From Rēzekne, head southwest on Jāņa Krišjāņa iela towards Rēzeknes iela (A12). Follow A12 for about 20 kilometers until you reach the turn for Mākoņkalns Parish. Turn onto the local road leading to Mākoņkalns Parish. Follow the signs to Volkenbergas Pils. Ample parking is available near the castle. Parking is free.
