The area is pedestrian-friendly and well-signposted, so follow the signs leading you to Rātslaukums.

If you are further away, you can take a tram to reach Rātslaukums. Head to the nearest tram stop and board tram number 5 or 7. Ride the tram until you reach the 'Rīgas pils' stop. Rātslaukums is just a short walk from the castle, and the First Public Christmas Tree will be on your left as you approach the Town Hall Square.
