Kemeri National Park Bog Walking trail with Jurmala private tour
exceptional experience with an absolute gem of a guide
Kemeri National Park is such a stunning place anyway so it may be that I could have gone with any of many tour guides and operators that offer visits there and would have been satisfied, but I am so chuffed that I had stumbled upon Armands, whose passion for all things outdoors and botanical stands out and has made my time with him extraordinary and unforgettable. I myself share that passion and am an avid walker/forager/herbal enthusiast myself, and it was an immense joy to spend time with someone who clearly loves and is proud of the beautiful nature his country offers. he was also extremely accommodating: considering I was a solo traveller with some time restrictions, he could have easily cancelled my booking (as another operator had done, which was fortunate in retrospect as I ended up with Armands!) but he managed to squeeze me into his already busy day. I will definitely seek him out again the next time I’m back in Riga.

Worth the time for a memorable experience
Places were as described, the guide was extremely knowledgeable, helpful, and the time flew by. A lot of additional tips, places to visit were recommeneded by the guide who has a great sense of humour.

Beautiful beach 🏖️ and city. But due to bad winter ❄️ weather unable to swim. Can go by train from Riga, LATIVA.
