If you are near the city center, head to the nearest tram stop. You can catch Tram 7 or Tram 10. Board the tram and travel towards the 'Jugla' or 'Ziepniekkalns' direction. Get off at the 'Akademijas laukums' stop. From the tram stop, walk directly towards Akademijas laukums 1, which is about a 2-minute walk straight ahead.

Locate the nearest bus stop and take Bus 22. Ride the bus until you reach the 'Akademijas laukums' stop. Once you disembark, walk for about 5 minutes to reach Akademijas laukums 1. You will see the building as you approach, which features a distinctive architectural style.

If you are in the Old Town area, you can walk to the Latvian Academy of Sciences Observation deck. Head east on Jāņa sēta towards the intersection with Rīgas street. Continue straight until you reach Brīvības iela. Turn left and continue walking for about 15 minutes until you see Akademijas laukums on your right. The observation deck is at Akademijas laukums 1.

You can rent a bicycle from one of the city’s bike-sharing stations. Once you have your bike, head towards Brīvības iela and continue straight for about 2 kilometers. Look for signs directing you to Akademijas laukums. The observation deck will be on your left after you cross the bridge.
