If you are starting from the Central Railway Station (Centrālā stacija), exit the station and head to the tram stop located just outside. Take tram number 1 or 2 (both heading towards 'Jūrmala' or 'Pārdaugava'). Ride for 3 stops and get off at 'Bastejkalna' stop. From there, walk straight on Basteja bulvāris until you reach the intersection with Smilšu iela. Turn left onto Smilšu iela, and you will find the Latvian War Museum at number 20 on your right.
