Walking
If you are starting from the central area of Riga, head towards the Freedom Monument, which is located on Brivibas iela. From the Freedom Monument, walk down Brivibas iela until you reach the intersection with Krišjāņa Barona iela. Turn right onto Krišjāņa Barona iela and continue walking straight until you reach the intersection with Smilšu iela. Turn left onto Smilšu iela, and you will find the Powder Tower at number 20 on your left.

Take Tram 5 from the 'Rīgas pils' stop, heading towards 'Mežaparks'. Get off at 'Rīgas pils' (Ride for about 5 minutes). From the tram stop, walk towards the Old Town, passing the National Museum of Art on your left. Continue straight until you reach Brivibas iela, then take a left.
