    If you are in the Old Town (Vecrīga), you can easily walk to Riga Castle. Start at the House of Blackheads, located at Rātslaukums 7. From there, head southeast on Rātslaukums toward Kaļķu iela. Continue onto Kaļķu iela and then turn left onto Pils iela. Follow Pils iela until you reach Pils laukums, where Riga Castle is located at Pils laukums 3. The walk will take approximately 10-15 minutes.

  • Public Transport - Tram

    From the Central Market (Centrāltirgus), walk to the nearby tram stop 'Zasulauks'. Take tram number 1 towards 'Purvciems'. Ride for 6 stops and get off at 'Pils'. After exiting, walk straight ahead for about 5 minutes, crossing the street until you reach Pils laukums, where Riga Castle is located at Pils laukums 3.

  • Public Transport - Bus

    If you're near the Freedom Monument, walk to the bus stop 'Brīvības piemineklis'. Take bus number 22 towards 'Ziepniekkalns'. After 3 stops, get off at 'Pils laukums'. From there, walk a short distance to reach Riga Castle at Pils laukums 3. The total travel time will be around 20-25 minutes.
