Getting There

  • Walking

    From Sigulda Railway Station, head east on Rīgas iela towards the center of Sigulda. Follow Rīgas iela for about 1 km until you reach the intersection with Pils iela. Turn left onto Pils iela and continue straight until you see the Turaida Castle on your right. The path to Turaidas ala is well-marked. Follow the signs to Turaidas ala, which is about a 20-minute walk from the castle.

  • Public Transport

    From Sigulda Railway Station, take bus number 1 towards Turaida. The bus stop is located right outside the station. Ride the bus for approximately 10 minutes and get off at the Turaida stop. From there, follow the signs to Turaidas ala, which is about a 15-minute walk through the forested area.

  • Bicycle

    If you have access to a bicycle, rent one from a local shop in Sigulda. Start at Sigulda Railway Station and head east on Rīgas iela. After about 1 km, turn left onto Pils iela.
