Getting There

Walking
Starting from the Sigulda train station, exit the station and turn left onto Rīgas iela. Walk straight for about 500 meters until you reach the crossroads with Turaidas iela. Turn right onto Turaidas iela. Continue walking for another 1.5 kilometers. You will see signs pointing towards Turaida Castle. Follow the signs, and you will arrive at the castle entrance.

Bus
From Sigulda, you can catch a bus to Turaida. Look for bus number 1 or 2 at the Sigulda bus stop, which is located near the central square. The bus ride takes about 10-15 minutes. Get off at the Turaida stop, and from there, it’s about a 10-minute walk to Turaida Castle. Follow the path leading towards the castle, and you will find the entrance.

If you prefer cycling, you can rent a bicycle from one of the rental shops in Sigulda. Head towards Turaidas iela, following the same route as if you were walking.
