Walking
From the center of Talsi, head towards the bus station located on Lielā iela. Once you reach the bus station, take route 640 towards Lauciene. The bus ride will take approximately 20 minutes. Get off at the stop named 'Lauciene'. After exiting the bus, walk straight along the main road (Unnamed Road) for about 1.5 kilometers. You'll see signs indicating the direction to Sapņu ezers. The lake is located just off the road to your left. Look for a small path leading towards the lake.
Bicycle
If you are renting a bicycle in Talsi, start from the town center and ride towards the bus station to get on the road towards Lauciene. Follow the same route as the bus, cycling along the main road (Unnamed Road) for about 1.5 kilometers. Look for the entrance to Sapņu ezers on your left, which will have a small path leading to it. Make sure to wear a helmet and be cautious of traffic.
Taxi
If you prefer a quicker option, you can call a local taxi from Talsi. Simply provide the driver with the destination 'Sapņu ezers, Lauciene Parish'. The journey should take around 15 minutes depending on traffic. The driver will drop you off at or near the entrance of the lake area.
