Walking
From the center of Aley, head towards the main road (Beirut-Damascus Highway). You can find the main road by locating the Aley Marketplace. Once you reach the main road, turn left and walk towards the direction of the mountains. Continue straight for about 1.5 kilometers until you reach the sign for Harissa. You will notice the road begins to incline as you approach Harissa. Follow the signs indicating Harissa and the cable car station.
Public Transport (Bus)
From Aley, walk to the nearest bus stop located at the Aley Marketplace. Look for a bus heading towards Jounieh or Harissa. These buses typically have 'Harissa' displayed on their front. The ride should take approximately 30 minutes. Once you arrive in Harissa, you will be close to the main attractions, including the famous statue of Our Lady of Lebanon. Follow the pedestrian signs or ask locals for directions to the main sites.
Taxi (Shared Taxi)
Head to the main taxi station in Aley, which is located near the Aley Marketplace. Look for a shared taxi (service) heading to Harissa. Shared taxis are usually indicated by a sign on the windshield. The fare is inexpensive, and the ride will take around 20-25 minutes. Once you arrive in Harissa, you can either walk to the nearby attractions or take a local taxi to your specific destination.
