Getting There

  • Walking

    From the center of Anjar, head southwest towards the main road. Walk straight until you reach the junction with the Beirut-Damascus Highway (Highway 5). Turn left and continue walking along the highway for approximately 7 km. You will pass by several signs directing you to Jounieh. Once you see the exit for Jounieh, follow the signs to the right. Continue straight, and you will arrive in the city center of Jounieh.

    From Anjar, walk to the nearest bus station located at the main square. Look for a bus heading towards Jounieh; these buses are usually marked with their final destination. Board the bus and enjoy the ride, which will take approximately 30-45 minutes depending on traffic. The bus will drop you off in the center of Jounieh, from where you can easily explore the area on foot.
