Walking
The Old Souks are centrally located in Batroun, making them easily accessible on foot from most parts of the city center. From Saint Stephen's Cathedral, walk southwest towards the coast; the souks are a few blocks away. The area is pedestrian-friendly with clear signage.
Public Transport
If arriving by bus from Beirut, disembark on the main highway and walk towards the city center. Follow the signs to the Old Souks, approximately a 10-15 minute walk. Local buses and taxis can also take you from the highway to the souks for a small fee. A short taxi ride from the highway to the Old Souks typically costs around LBP 15,000 - 25,000.
Taxi
Taxis are readily available in Batroun. Ask the driver to take you to "Souk al-Batroun al-Qadeem." A short taxi ride within the city should cost approximately LBP 20,000 - 30,000, depending on the distance and traffic. Be sure to agree on the fare before starting your journey.
Driving
If driving, navigate to Batroun City and follow signs directing you to the Old Souks. Parking can be limited, especially during peak hours. There is a paid parking lot near Bolero, about a 4-minute walk to the souks. Parking fees typically range from LBP 5,000 - 10,000 per hour.
