Getting There

Walking
Start at the main square of Bcharre, where the Church of St. Mary is located. Head east on the main road (Ain Zhalta Road) towards the Al-Qadisha valley. Continue walking for approximately 1.5 kilometers until you reach the fork in the road. Take the path that leads to the right, which is marked by a small sign indicating direction towards Hawqa. Follow this path for another 2 kilometers, which will take you through the scenic mountainous terrain. You will pass by several small orchards and local farms along the way. After about 20 minutes, you will arrive at the outskirts of the Village of Hawqa.
