Getting There

  • Car

    From Qadisha Grotto, head south on the main road (Lebanon Route 1) towards Bsharri. Continue for approximately 10 kilometers until you reach the junction of Qannoubin Valley. Look for signs indicating 'Qannoubin Valley' or 'Hawqa'. Take the right turn onto the road leading to Hawqa. Follow this road for about 2 kilometers until you reach the entrance point of Qannoubin Valley. Parking areas are available near the entrance.

  • Public Transport

    From Qadisha Grotto, catch a local minibus from Bsharri to Hawqa. Minibusses heading towards Hawqa usually leave from the main bus station in Bsharri. The ride takes about 20 minutes. Once you arrive in Hawqa, you may need to walk approximately 1 kilometer to reach the entrance of Qannoubin Valley. The minibus fare is around 2,000 LBP.

  • Walking

    If you are feeling adventurous, you can also walk from Qadisha Grotto to Qannoubin Valley. This is a longer trek, approximately 8 kilometers, and would take around 2 hours. Head south on the main road toward Bsharri, then take the right turn towards Hawqa. The walk is scenic, but make sure to wear comfortable shoes and carry water, especially during warmer months.
